Twenty teams have been selected to compete in the Semi-Final round of the 2009 New Venture Championship in Portland, Oregon. Of 160 entries, Walton team, Ground Up Biosolutions, has been chosen to be one of the twenty. The other teams include, but are not limited to: BYU, Clemson, Cornell, Penn State, Purdue, UC Berkeley, Darden school at Virginia, and Kellogg at Northwestern.
We also have TWO teams selected to compete at Rice. Of 350 entries, Silicon Solar Solutions and Tears for Life were chosen to compete in this very selective competition. These two groups have also been contacted by a combined six venture capitalists.
