Last year we held our first summer MBA Open House and Social. It was a success and we'll be doing it again this summer on Friday, July 10. The event will begin with an Open House in 403 Willard J. Walker Hall at 5:30. The Open House is for our prospective MBA (both full and part-time) students. The Summer Social will be 6-8 at Powerhouse Seafood and Grill. As soon as we get finished with the Open House, we'll join the Social which will already be in progress.
The Summer Social is for prospective, new, current, and former Walton MBA students. Faculty will also be present. This is a great opportunity to get a feel for the program and to get to talk to current students as well as alumni. You can also check out our faculty members. Not all will be there due to the fact that it is summer and many travel during this time.
If you are thinking about making a trip to Fayetteville or if you are in the area and want to visit the Walton College, this is a great time. Not only is it informative, but we also have a lot of fun too.
To RSVP to either the Open House, the Summer Social, or both, please send an email to gsb@walton.uark.edu. The Summer Social is catered so we do need to know how many to expect. Please bring a guest. If you know someone who may be interested in an MBA, bring them along.
