The application deadline for Master of Accountancy (MAcc) is next Monday, March 2. This program begins in August and students complete 30 hours in two semesters. Upon completion of the MAcc, students are eligible to sit for the CPA exam in Arkansas.
Last year's class consisted of 30 students. Their average GMAT score was 596. The GSB received 52 applications for this class. We have consistently seen an increase in applications this spring and we are not expecting MAcc to be any different. At present count, we have approximately 50. Since the deadline is not until next week, we are expecting to receive several more. We will accept applications through next week. The Accounting Department will pick up their folders the week of March 9.
Spring break at the University of Arkansas is March 16-20. Don't expect to receive an admissions decision for MAcc until the week of March 23.
Again, application deadline for the Master of Accountancy is next Monday, March 2. Turn your materials in immediately in order to be considered for financial assistance. The Department will accept late applications but their funding assistance will be gone. In order to be considered for financial assistance, your application must be received before the folders go to the admissions committee.
