Last night we held our first annual Professional MIS Mixer. This event was for current, former, and prospective students for our Professional MIS program. This program begins in August and students take 6 hours each semester for 5 semesters by attending class one night each week. Application deadline is March 15. However, we will accept applications throughout the summer. The Professional MIS program is designed for full-time working professionals.
Tomorrow I will be visiting Tyson's Corporate offices to present information pertaining to both of Walton's part-time master's degree programs: the Professional MIS, mentioned above, and the Managerial MBA (MMBA). The MMBA also begins in August and takes 6 semesters to complete. Students take 6 hours each semester by attending class one Saturday each month. Application deadline is April 1. Applications will be accepted throughout the summer.
