Our office is working on getting the MIS applications ready for departmental review. Last year the MIS application deadline was March 15. This year we moved it to February 1. Due to some confusion, we will accept applications through March 15. I do have to say, MIS has MANY very good applications. If you intend to apply to this program, the sooner you submit your application materials, the better.
This program does have limited funding. Graduate Assistantships (GA) are available that will waive tuition and provide a stipend of $2500 each semester. All admitted students are automatically considered for a GA. The MIS program is completed in one calendar year. Students begin in the fall and take 12 hours in fall and spring and then 6 hours over the summer for a total of 30 hours.
Applications for this program are up this year. The department will make their first round of admissions decisions very soon, within the next week. After March 15, they will make final decisions on any remaining applications.
